Speranza and the Traders

Speranza is the underground home of ARC Raiders, the oldest neighborhood of Toledo. Its five traders are Celeste, Shani, Tian Wen, Apollo and Lance, and a sixth slot, the Nomadic Envoy, was filled by Ermal from May 2026 and by Cassio from update 2.0, open from level 25.

Speranza is where you live between raids in ARC Raiders: the oldest neighborhood of Toledo, built on Neapolitan-style architecture partly swallowed by sinkholes, and home to five traders, Celeste, Shani, Tian Wen, Apollo and Lance, whom Embark introduced on Sep 18, 2025. A sixth seller, the Nomadic Envoy, arrived with Ermal in update 1.29.0, and Cassio replaced him in 2.0. Traders sell gear, give Quests and move the story.

Speranza

Vaulted glass skylights sit over Speranza's plazas and markets, and it was founded after the Second Wave as an independent settlement. It belongs to Toledo, with the Contradas Murteta, Ferrovia and Vaulto (see Story and Setting). Getting home safely is the point of a raid: Rite of Passage, the achievement for your first return to Speranza, is held by 92.4% of Steam players as of Oct 31, 2026. Speranza also holds the systems on Crafting and the Workshop, Stash and, from 2.0, the road to the Outpost.

The traders

Stock lists below are from Dexerto's trader pages, which carry no date of their own and were read on Oct 31, 2026. They can lag the game: Dexerto's Tian Wen page still lists two weapons that moved away in 2.0. Prices and rotating offers are not listed in any reliable source as of Oct 31, 2026.

Celeste

The Raider leader and a symbol of hope, responsible for morale, often up late strategizing, playing darts by the bar and drinking a lot of coffee. Celeste's shop sells basic and Topside materials such as Metal Parts, Plastic Parts, Chemicals and Exodus Modules. Celeste leads the story often, offering the Outpost, giving Sizing Things Up in Frozen Trail, and leading Soul's Offering. In the clip, Embark says Celeste asks Raiders to go after the signals.

Shani

Head of security and main ARC expert, known as obsessive, suspicious and paranoid. Dexerto lists her shop as Binoculars and the Raider Hatch Key. She added the guitar in 1.13.0, and sold Cred items until Cred retired on Oct 8, 2026; Embark says Cameras come from her too, among other sources, though Beebom says Celeste. Keys are on Extraction and Raider Hatches and Keys.

Tian Wen

A gun craftsman and recluse who dislikes most Raiders, with a soft spot for things needing repair. Dexerto's list: all ammo types (Light, Medium, Heavy, Shotgun, Launcher, Energy Clip); the Hairpin, Ferro, Stitcher, Kettle, Burletta, Il Toro and Renegade; and a range of grips, mags, muzzle brakes and stocks. It also lists the Anvil and Hullcracker, but Embark's 2.0 notes say the shop no longer has those two, which moved to the weekly Nomadic Envoy rotation. See Weapons and Mods and Ammo.

Apollo

A traveling mechanic, vague about his past, who runs a kids' football team and stocks the library. Dexerto lists 18 items: Blue, Green, Red and Yellow light sticks; Light Impact, Seeker, Snap Blast, Heavy Fuze and Smoke grenades; Gas and Jolt Mines; and the Door Blocker, Remote Raider Flare, Barricade Kit, Noisemaker, Recorder, Zipline and Deadline. Since 2.0 he also sells a set of Epic Augments. In the story Apollo works on the experimental solution for reaching the mountains. See Gadgets and Grenades.

Lance

A medic and eccentric android, fond of midnight karaoke and boxing, with amnesia about his past. Dexerto lists 16 items: Bandage, Herbal Bandage, Sterilized Bandage, Adrenaline Shot, Shield Recharger, Surge Shield Recharger, Defibrillator, Light, Medium and Heavy Shields, and Combat, Looting and Tactical augments at Mk. 1 and Mk. 2. See Shields and Augments.

The Nomadic Envoy: Ermal, then Cassio

Update 1.29.0 (May 19, 2026) brought "these mysterious members of the nomadic tribe," who long avoided going underground, "offering deals you can't find anywhere else." The first was Ermal, whose offers rotated weekly and who traded for valuables with a Vault that held Blueprints across Expeditions. The Nomadic Envoy opens at level 25. Embark surveyed players about the Nomadic Envoy on Jul 2, 2026 and adjusted the Vault pricing on May 26.

Cassio replaced Ermal as the Nomadic Envoy in 2.0 and also gives quests. Cassio takes high-value items for weekly rewards and now carries the Anvil and Hullcracker. The Expedition Vault tab was removed in 2.2.0. Some press guides written right after 2.0 still mention Ermal; Beebom noted a Stiletto IV trade under his name on Oct 9, 2026, which conflicts with Embark's note, so trust the game's own shop. Embark has said little of Cassio's backstory as of Oct 31, 2026. Nomadic Envoy stash space is bought separately (see Stash).
