Gadgets and Grenades

ARC Raiders' quick-use items are movement gadgets (Zipline, Snap Hook, Grappling Hook), deployables, grenades, traps, instruments and healing items. Update 2.0 added the Grappling Hook, Tether Launcher, Yank Grenade, Cameras and Mountaineer's Detector; update 2.3.0 raised Flame Spray damage and changed the Adrenaline Shot.

ARC Raiders' gadgets and grenades all sit in Quick Use slots, and the newest are the Grappling Hook, Tether Launcher, Yank Grenade, Basic and Advanced Cameras, Mountaineer's Detector, Banjo and Harmonica, all added by update 2.0 on Oct 8, 2026. This page lists each with what it does, its recipe and its patch changes through update 2.3.0 (Oct 27, 2026), then every healing item. Many base figures are launch figures from Oct 2025: Embark publishes changes, not a full table, and no reliable source lists all current stats as of Oct 31, 2026. For how these fit a kit, see Best Loadouts; for the benches, Crafting and the Workshop.

Movement gadgets

The Grappling Hook lets you climb, abseil and swing over gaps. It goes in a Quick Use slot and crafts from 2 Rope, 1 Cable Stripper and 1 Mechanical Components at Utility Station 1. Beebom lists its blueprint at level 12 of the Frozen Trail Reward Pass, from the Research Station, as loot in Night Raids and Electromagnetic Storms, or from the Nomadic Envoys (Oct 9, 2026). It has been patched in every update since: 2.1.0 made vaulting from it more reliable, and 2.3.0 made Tether items affect players swinging from it, let it reattach to debris and fixed extreme-speed launches. It works inside the Matriarch's shield since 2.3.0.

The Snap Hook pulls you toward a point, and update 2.0 cut it: range 20 m to 18 m, durability use 2% to 4%, power cost 50 to 60. It crafts from 4 Advanced Electrical Components and 4 Rope at Utility Station 3 (Beebom, Oct 7, 2026), and its blueprint is the Trophy Display's Stage 5 reward (PCGamesN, May 7, 2026).

The Zipline has a 60 m reach and crafts from 1 Rope and 1 Mechanical Components; Apollo's price is 3,000 (Beebom, Oct 7, 2026). It cannot be placed on carryable objects (1.17.0), and barricades cannot be placed on ziplines (1.23.0) or near its its exit points (1.1.0).

The Powered Descender (Epic, added in 1.26.0) crafts from 1 Power Rod and 1 Turbine Compressor at Utility Station 3. The Crash Mat arrived in the same update.

The Tether Launcher connects two points with a wire, rooting targets or tying Raiders to ARC. It could not be repaired in a raid until update 2.2.0, and Sportskeeda lists it in the Frozen Trail Reward Pass. As of Oct 31, 2026 no reliable source gives its recipe.

The Photoelectric Cloak has moved three times: weight 1 to 3 and power use 2.5 to 10 per second in 1.26.0, because Embark said it was "aggressively over-performing"; power use down to 5 per second in 1.29.0; and since 1.42.0 it works against Turbine lightning and Matriarch missiles.

The Cameras have zoom, aperture, manual and automatic focus and a selfie mode, and update 2.3.0 added Color Push and Black & White filters to the Advanced Camera. Embark says cameras come from Shani, the Workbench or Topside. You need one for the first step of the Outpost project.

The Spotter Relay can be used in a quick slot and deployed as a trap that lures nearby ARC since 1.17.0, and its value fell from 5,000 to 2,000 in 1.2.0. The Raider Hatch Key is on Keys.

Instruments: the Acoustic Guitar, Recorder, Shaker, Harmonica and Banjo draw ARC and impress Raiders. Beebom prices the Recorder at 3,000 at Apollo and lists the Shaker as 1 Canister and 7 Assorted Seeds through the Traveling Tinkerer (Oct 7, 2026). The Banjo blueprint comes only through the Collector Set DLC.

The Yank Grenade explodes and pulls a nearby target with violent force, which Embark suggests for grounding flying ARC. Sportskeeda places it in the Frozen Trail Reward Pass. Embark's first look calls it the tether grenade.

The Trigger 'Nade is the most-patched grenade. Embark said on Jan 13, 2026 that it "currently dominates PVP encounters", and the two later nerfs in the table followed.

The Wolfpack was revalued in 1.2.0 from 3,000 to 5,000 with a recipe of 3 Refined Explosives and 2 ARC Motion Cores, then to 6,000 in 1.17.0, with a Rocketeer Driver added and fewer Refined Explosives. Update 1.39.0 fixed inconsistent damage on the Seeker and Wolfpack. Its blueprint crafts at Explosives Station 3.

The Deadline went from a trader price of 8,100 to 15,000 in 1.3.0, with stock cut from 3 to 1, then to value 6,000 and trader price 18,000 with an ARC part added, in 1.17.0. In the same patch the Trailblazer rose to value 2,200 and trader price 6,600.

Flame Spray does 13 damage per second, up from 10, with durability drain cut by 50% since 2.3.0, and crafts from 1 Air Freshener and 1 Fireball Burner. The Firefly Burner now activates on impact when thrown, trailing fire and exploding after about 3 seconds. The Pop Trigger can be deployed to roll forward before exploding since 1.17.0.

During the PvE Toggle test of Oct 13 to 20, 2026, throwables including stun and fire items did not work on other players, while barricades and ziplines did.

Which station crafts each is on Blueprints.

Since update 2.3.0 the Adrenaline Shot works at full stamina and no longer stacks: a second one refreshes the duration. Stamina items cannot be used during the Sprinting on Fumes cooldown (2.1.0; see Skill Tree). Vita Spray's value rose from 3,000 to 3,400 in 1.17.0. Two players using a Defibrillator at once no longer revive at full HP since 1.13.0. Game Rant's per-map loadouts (Dec 29, 2025) regularly bring a Herbal Bandage, Shield Recharger and Defibrillator.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get the Grappling Hook in ARC Raiders? Beebom lists level 12 of the Frozen Trail Reward Pass, the Research Station, loot in Night Raids and Electromagnetic Storms, or the Nomadic Envoys for its blueprint (Oct 9, 2026). Craft it from 2 Rope, 1 Cable Stripper and 1 Mechanical Components at Utility Station 1.

What does the Snap Hook do after the 2.0 changes in ARC Raiders? It still pulls you toward a point, but update 2.0 cut its range to 18 m, doubled its durability use to 4% and raised its power cost to 60.

How do you craft a Zipline in ARC Raiders? One Rope and 1 Mechanical Components, per Beebom on Oct 7, 2026. It reaches 60 m, and Apollo sells it for 3,000.

What is the Yank Grenade in ARC Raiders? A grenade added in update 2.0 that explodes and pulls a nearby target with violent force. Embark suggests it for bringing down flying ARC.

How much does a Bandage heal in ARC Raiders? Launch figures from Oct 2025: 2 HP per second for 10 seconds, or 20 HP in all. Herbal Bandages heal 3.5 per second and Sterilized Bandages 5.

Did the Adrenaline Shot change in ARC Raiders? Yes. Since update 2.3.0 on Oct 27, 2026 you can use it at full stamina, and a second shot refreshes the duration rather than stacking.

Does the Shield Recharger restore health in ARC Raiders? No, it restores shield charge: 4 per second for 10 seconds, by TechWiser's launch figures. The Surge Shield Recharger gives 50 at once but takes 5 seconds to use.
