Ground ARC
Small ground ARC in ARC Raiders die quickly once you know the spot. One hit kills a Tick, one medium shot pops a Pop, a Fireball falls when its panel opens, and two heavy shots behind the barrel kill a Turret. The Leaper is the dangerous one, best hit with heavy ammo on the eye and Blaze Grenades.
Ground ARC in ARC Raiders range from the Tick, which dies to one bullet or one melee hit, to the Leaper, which needs heavy ammo and a plan. Weak points below come mostly from Game Rant's guide of Apr 4, 2026 and drops from TheGamer's of Feb 27, 2026, with Embark's patch notes checked through update 2.3.0 (Oct 27, 2026). No reliable source gives official health or damage values as of Oct 31, 2026. The bigger walkers are on Bastion, Bombardier and Shredder, the newest on Bully, Skulker and Hydra. Embark's trailer names the Tick in the clip.

Tick
The Tick crawls at you indoors and latches on. It is unarmored, and one bullet or one melee hit kills it. Once grabbed, you get a brief window to dodge-roll it off, since 1.13.0 (Jan 27, 2026), and you can drop a carried object to fight it off, since 1.27.0 (May 5, 2026). The Anti-Tick Field augment's passive cut Tick attachment time from 1 second to 0.5 seconds in 1.2.0 (Nov 13, 2025): see Shields and Augments.
It drops ARC Alloy and Tick Pod (TheGamer, Feb 27, 2026). Launch-era Medical Lab level 2 took 8 Tick Pods (Destructoid, Nov 2, 2025), and 1.17.0 added the Pod as a crafting cost (Feb 24, 2026).
Pop
The Pop rolls up and explodes. Destroy it before it detonates: two or three light shots, or one medium or heavy shot, anywhere. If it gets close, vault over an edge or dodge away. It drops ARC Alloy, ARC Powercell, ARC Thermo Lining, Crude Explosives and Pop Trigger, and since 1.17.0 a Pop Trigger fits in quick slots and can be deployed to roll forward before exploding. In the clip, Fallout Plays aims for the round center, not the tougher outer ring (Feb 25, 2026).
Fireball
The Fireball rolls fast, then opens up and breathes fire. Shoot the white interior when its panel opens; heavy ammo can one-shot it. It drops ARC Alloy, ARC Powercell, Crude Explosives and Fireball Burner. What Goes Around asks you to destroy any ARC using a Fireball Burner (PC Gamer, May 1, 2026). See Gadgets and Grenades.
Comet
The Comet came with Shrouded Sky on Feb 23, 2026, a spherical patroller that locks on and explodes with a seismic blast. It makes a noise, then charges: shoot the red line in its middle to make it explode. TheGamer's advice is to aggro it from range so its armor opens. It drops ARC Alloy, Crude Explosives, Advanced ARC Powercell, ARC Coolant, ARC Thermo Lining, Comet Igniter and Explosive Compound. Embark reduced its presence on Buried City in 1.26.0 (Apr 28, 2026) to keep beginner sessions easier. In the clip, Embark's designers describe the vertical portion you can hit to kill it quickly.
Turret and Sentinel
The Turret sits indoors; aim at the body behind the barrel, and two heavy shots kill it. The Sentinel is its long-range outdoor cousin with a laser, which since 1.7.0 reaches targets at distance as intended (Dec 16, 2025). Game Rant says treat it like a Turret from range and throw explosives up close. The Sentinel Firing Core went into launch-era Gunsmith level 3, 4 of them (Destructoid, Nov 2, 2025). Killing a Sentinel with a Raider Tool earns Blindsided, held by 6.7% of Steam players on Oct 31, 2026.
Leaper
The Leaper is the jumping spider of the group, with shockwaves on landing. Guides differ on its weak point: Game Rant says shoot the eye with heavy ammo to remove the outer shell, hit the four legs, and use Blaze Grenades (Apr 4, 2026), while TheGamer says it has no specific weak point, so attack while it recovers from a leap (Feb 27, 2026). Both fit one plan: dodge the leap, then shoot during the recovery. Since 1.13.0 it walks better after losing legs, so finish it rather than leaving it crippled.
The Trailblazer Grenade deals less to bigger enemies such as the Leaper since 1.15.0 (Feb 10, 2026), and the explosive rework in 2.0 (Oct 8, 2026) weakened explosives on fragile parts by around 30%, so test grenade advice older than that.
It drops ARC Alloy, ARC Flex Rubber, ARC Performance Steel, Advanced ARC Powercell, Explosive Compound, Mechanical Components and Leaper Pulse Unit. A leg pays 500 XP to loot since 1.2.0 (Nov 13, 2025). Into the Fray wants one Pulse Unit (PC Gamer, May 1, 2026), and launch-era Utility Station level 3 took 4 (Destructoid, Nov 2, 2025).
ARC Surveyor
The Surveyor is a heavily armored roller with a scanning beacon, and Game Rant rates it Very Rare (Apr 4, 2026). Shoot the beacon module when it opens for large initial damage, then disable it with a Showstopper and work the plating with heavy ammo. Kill it early: its beam calls in the Assessor (1.26.0, Apr 28, 2026). You cannot vault onto one since 1.7.0. It drops ARC Alloy, ARC Powercell, ARC Motion Core, ARC Circuitry, Advanced ARC Powercell, Sensors and Surveyor Vault, and Mixed Signals asks for the Vault (PC Gamer, May 1, 2026).
Frequently asked questions
How do you get a Tick off in ARC Raiders? Dodge-roll in the brief window after it grabs you, a mechanic added in update 1.13.0 (Jan 27, 2026). Better still, shoot it first: one bullet or one melee hit kills it.
How do you kill a Leaper in ARC Raiders? Dodge its leap, then attack as it recovers. Game Rant recommends heavy ammo on the eye to remove the outer shell, then the four legs, and Blaze Grenades (Apr 4, 2026).
What is the weak point of the Turret in ARC Raiders? The body behind the barrel. Two heavy shots there destroy it, Game Rant says (Apr 4, 2026).
How do you kill a Sentinel in ARC Raiders? Shoot the body behind its barrel from range, as with a Turret, or throw explosives up close.
How do you kill a Fireball in ARC Raiders? Wait for its front panel to open, then shoot the white interior. Heavy ammo can kill it in one shot.
What is the Surveyor in ARC Raiders? The ARC Surveyor is a rare armored rolling machine whose beacon opens to expose a weak spot. Its beam can call in the Assessor, so kill it early and loot its Surveyor Vault.

Bully, Skulker and HydraThe Bully, Skulker and Hydra are the new ARC in ARC Raiders' Frozen Trail update of Oct 8, 2026. Hit the Bully's yellow leg joints with a Hullcracker, break the Skulker's wheels, and fight the Frigate's three-part Hydra from cover in short windows. -
Shields and AugmentsARC Raiders has three shields (Light, Medium, Heavy) and an Augment decides which of them you may wear, along with your backpack slots, weight limit and safe pockets. Mk.1 and Mk.2 Augments craft at the Gear Bench or sell at Lance; Mk.3 Augments need Gear Bench 3. Heavy Shield charge rose to 90 in update 2.3.0.
