Raider Tokens and Reward Passes

Raider Tokens are ARC Raiders' premium currency, for cosmetics. Reward Passes replaced Raider Decks and Cred on Oct 8, 2026; the Frozen Trail pass has 60 levels, a Free track with all its gameplay items and up to 200 tokens, and a 1,150-token Premium track that pays up to 1,150 back and holds no gameplay items.

Raider Tokens are ARC Raiders' premium currency, spent on bundles, outfits, backpacks, charms, emotes and Scrappy outfits, and since Oct 8, 2026 the Reward Pass is how you earn its cosmetics: 60 levels, a Free track and a Premium track that costs 1,150 tokens and returns up to 1,150. Reward Passes replaced Raider Decks, and Reward Points replaced Cred, which expired on Oct 8, 2026. Embark says paying buys no gameplay items, and that holds with one small exception, the Banjo.

How Reward Passes work

The Frozen Trail Reward Pass has 60 levels on two tracks. The Free track holds all new base outfits, cosmetics, weapons, gadgets and items, plus up to 200 Raider Tokens; Embark's Sep 23 preview counted five outfits and 20 cosmetics there. The Premium track costs 1,150 tokens, can pay back up to 1,150, and holds premium toggles, colorways, legendary stencils and hairstyles, with no gameplay items.

Only one pass can be active at a time, and Reward Points go to whichever one that is. As of 2.0, Feats pay Easy 15 RP, Medium 25 and Hard 50, and three weekly milestones pay 250 RP each. Update 2.2.0 added, removed and rebalanced Feats on Oct 20, 2026, so those values may have moved, and 2.3.0 renamed Daily Feats to Feats and Weekly Bonus to Milestones. A progress bug acknowledged on Oct 9 was fixed in 2.1.0. More on Events and Feats.

No Embark post read for this page says when the Frozen Trail pass ends. Its gameplay rewards are the same weapons and gadgets covered on Weapons and Gadgets and Grenades; the Grappling Hook blueprint, for example, is at level 12 of the pass, or found elsewhere, per Beebom on Oct 9, 2026.

The Legacy Reward Pass

The Legacy Reward Pass is free and merges every Raider Deck's cosmetic rewards and tokens into one pass. Anything you already claimed stays yours. Older deck content, such as Goalie and Surgeon, therefore remains reachable.

Raider Tokens

Buying them. Destructoid listed packs of 500 tokens for $4.99 and 1,150 for $9.99, with no 1,600 pack, in Nov 2025; this was read only in a search excerpt, and current prices were not read. The Deluxe upgrade and the Tick Hunter Set each include 2,400 tokens, and the Collector Set up to 3,550 with its pass. See Price and Editions.

Earning them. Tokens have been handed out by play, and the amounts are small next to prices.

When Source Tokens
Nov 3, 2025 Server trouble apology 500
Dec 16, 2025 Flickering Flames, Candleberry Banquet Some, not totaled here
Apr 28, 2026 Last Resort 250
Apr 28, 2026 Avian Alarm 250
Jun 16, 2026 Converging Paths 300
Jul and Sep 2026 Fourth and fifth Expedition objectives 150 each, five objectives
Oct 8, 2026 Frozen Trail Free track Up to 200

The price cut. After launch complaints, Embark lowered cosmetic prices on Nov 13, 2025 and refunded tokens to earlier buyers. Destructoid's excerpt says Bog Walker fell from 2,400 to 1,600 tokens and single skins by about 100. Store prices change weekly, and no reliable source lists them all as of Oct 31, 2026.

Retired: Raider Decks and Cred

Raider Decks were the earlier reward tracks, bought with Cred from Feats, which could also be spent at Shani. A soft cap of 800 Cred arrived in 1.7.0 so players could not fully unlock a new deck from savings. Free decks included Goalie from Dec 26, 2025 and Surgeon from Feb 24, 2026.

Embark warned on Sep 8, 2026 that Cred worked until Oct 8 and that any remainder would then expire. Insider Gaming reported on Sep 28 that decks went because players earned Cred faster than designers could manage. Press also noticed the change in kind: Insider Gaming called the new system a paid battle pass mechanic. Embark's phrase is "natural evolution".

Is ARC Raiders pay to win?

By the published rules, no. Tokens buy cosmetics, and the Premium track has no gameplay items, while weapons and gadgets sit on the Free track. The exception worth stating is the Banjo blueprint, available only in the Collector Set; it is an instrument. One thing paying does not buy is safety: raiders who down you can loot your weapon along with its Stencil. In the clip, from Nov 2025, a developer says Embark needs ways to earn money that do not feel predatory.
