Extraction and Raider Hatches

To extract in ARC Raiders, reach a map's exit, use the console and get inside before the round ends; it sets off an alarm and leaves by itself after 2 minutes. A Raider Hatch is a silent, instant exit that uses up a Raider Hatch Key. Pendola Pass uses a Ballistic Gondola instead.

To extract in ARC Raiders, reach one of the map's exits, activate its console and be inside when it leaves: the warning sound alerts nearby ARC and players, the exit takes about 15 seconds to open, and it leaves on its own after 2 minutes unless someone uses the console inside (TheGamer, Nov 1, 2025). A Raider Hatch is the quiet alternative, with no wait, but each use takes a Raider Hatch Key. If you are still Topside when the 30-minute raid (launch-era figure, Nov 2025) ends, you die, and dying costs everything you carry except your Safe Pocket. The clip, a launch-era guide, explains the alarm and the wait.

Standard extraction points

Exits are marked on the map with a downward arrow, a train car or a fan symbol, and differ by map: In the clip Embark's designer recalls turning The Blue Gate's extraction into a hole in the ground.

Map Standard exit Console
Dam Battlegrounds Elevators Right outside
Spaceport Elevators Right outside
Buried City Train stations, with several entrances Underground, by the gated tracks
The Blue Gate Air shafts Right outside
Stella Montis Includes one at the Seed Vault No reliable source details it
Riven Tides No reliable source lists them
Pendola Pass Ballistic Gondola Radio beacon

Sources disagree on timing: TheGamer says the point takes about 15 seconds to open, Game Rant about 5 (both launch-era). Allow for the longer one. The whole trip, from inside to doors closed, takes TheGamer about 30 to 45 seconds. One person using the inside console starts the countdown for everyone in there, which leaves time to loot nearby.

Being downed is not the end. You can crawl in and use the console while knocked down, and that earns the Not Over Till It's Over achievement. See Achievements. The clip, a launch-era guide, says the same.

Raider Hatches

A hatch needs a Raider Hatch Key, is often further from main locations, and is marked by a white square with a dark arrow pointing into a circle (Shacknews, Nov 2, 2025). Find it with the key on you, use the console on the door, and you are back in Speranza at once. Since 1.2.0, entering grants immunity to damage and knockback. The clip, a launch-era guide, calls it an instant exit without the attention-drawing sounds.

Hatches are not always on. Since 1.17.0 the game warns at ready-up when you bring hatch keys into a map with none active, and Beebom lists no active hatches during the Frigate (Oct 9, 2026). The launch-era guide in the clip says Night Raid disables them.

How to get a Raider Hatch Key

Keep a key in your Safe Pocket so it survives a death. Other keys are on Keys.

The Ballistic Gondola on Pendola Pass

Pendola Pass has its own exit. Use a radio beacon with a large antenna, wait for green, follow its light, and pry open a pod on the orange tube, which holds three (TheGamer, Oct 8, 2026).

Update Gondola change
2.1.0, Oct 13, 2026 Markers show from 175 meters, up from 120; no more eliminations inside while extracting; Grappling Hook lines hold during lift-off
2.2.0, Oct 20, 2026 ARC reacts to anyone using a transceiver; distant alarm sounds added
2.3.0, Oct 27, 2026 Downed Raiders stop losing health after entering; clipping through it fixed

Extraction tips

TheGamer's tips still hold as play, though they date from launch week: clear small flyers such as Wasps and Hornets near the exit before you trigger it, find cover and wait, let someone else go first with your flashlight off, then run in just before the doors shut. It also suggests an emote to signal you only want to leave. For the whole raid, see How a Raid Works, Solo Guide and PvP Guide.

Frequently asked questions

How do you extract in ARC Raiders? Reach an exit on the ARC Raiders map, activate the console, wait for it to open, go inside and use the inside console or wait up to 2 minutes for it to leave (TheGamer, Nov 1, 2025).

What is a Raider Hatch in ARC Raiders? A Raider Hatch is an ARC Raiders exit with no timer and no alarm that takes you straight to Speranza, using up one Raider Hatch Key each time.

How do you get a Raider Hatch Key in ARC Raiders? In ARC Raiders you can craft a Raider Hatch Key at Utility II, earn it from quests such as Hatch Repair, loot it, or buy it from Shani. The Shani price quoted at launch was in Cred, which has been retired since Oct 8, 2026.

Why can't I use a Raider Hatch in ARC Raiders? Some ARC Raiders conditions turn hatches off, and the game warns you at ready-up when none are active on your map. The Frigate is one, per Beebom. You also need a key in your inventory.

How does the Gondola work in ARC Raiders? On ARC Raiders' Pendola Pass you call a Ballistic Gondola from a radio beacon, follow the beacon's light to it and pry open a pod. It seats three Raiders.

What happens if you do not extract in time in ARC Raiders? You die if you miss the end of an ARC Raiders round, and you lose everything you carry except what is in your Safe Pocket.
