Frigate

The ARC Frigate is a map condition added in ARC Raiders update 2.0 on Oct 8, 2026, in which a colossal flying carrier crosses the map. You board by disrupting a Reclaimer, destroy its power cores and drop its cargo, mainly for Amplification Modules. It allows no Free Loadout.

The ARC Frigate is a map condition added in ARC Raiders update 2.0 on Oct 8, 2026: a "colossal airborne carrier" you board, fight through and sabotage for Amplification Modules, the main prize. You get on by disrupting a Reclaimer, destroy the power cores inside, and drop its cargo. Embark calls it "a very high-risk, high-reward encounter" and deliberately kept the details out of its post, so everything below past the patch notes comes from early press guides dated Oct 8 to 9, 2026. In the clip Embark likens it to boarding a pirate ship: you sabotage it rather than blow it up.

Where and when

Pick a map marked ARC Frigate on the Map Selection screen; it rotates between maps during the day, so you do not need Pendola Pass. Embark's condition page shows when it runs next in your region. The rules are harsher than a normal raid: Beebom lists no active locked doors, lower overall loot value, no active Raider Hatches and no Free Loadout. Plan your way out through a standard exit: see Extraction and Raider Hatches. In the clip Arekkz Gaming calls it a major condition that moves between maps (Oct 11, 2026).

What to bring

Beebom's suggested kit (Oct 9, 2026) is a Bettina or other heavy weapon plus a Hullcracker or Jupiter, Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor), a Medium Shield, bandages, Shield Rechargers, Wolfpacks or Trigger Nades, 3 Barriers, 2 Defibrillators and a Snap Hook, and warns to adjust for lobbies with more PvP. KeenGamer adds that a Grappling Hook or Snap Hook makes the cargo route safer, and that explosives deal over 50% more to ARC armor since 2.0. That figure is Embark's. The kit predates three weeks of patches. See Best Loadouts. In the clip Fallout Plays argues for the same two launchers (Oct 16, 2026).

How to board

You cannot climb on from the ground. A smaller Reclaimer travels between the ship and the surface: interact with it to disrupt it, ride it up, and jump or climb on when it arrives. Destructoid describes a circular disc near the ship that carries you with an active shield protecting you, and says the ship cannot be damaged from outside (Oct 8, 2026). KeenGamer warns that large turrets underneath fire on anyone who stays below too long. In the clip Fallout Plays climbs onto a platform and uses its disrupt action, which raises a shield (Oct 16, 2026).

How to beat the Frigate

The press guides agree on the order, though neither gives a confirmed core count: In the clip Fallout Plays calls the orange targets coils and says every one must break (Oct 16, 2026).

  1. Clear the Hydras. A Hydra is three stacked autonomous sections that can handle whole squads. Embark says to divert attention, find cover and attack in windows. See Bully, Skulker and Hydra.
  2. Raise the core. Three levers lift the central mechanism, each needing one Raider, so solos and duos need to team up with others aboard. Beebom says a Snap Hook, or two players lifting a third with the buttons, gets you up to press them.
  3. Destroy the power cores. Shoot the glowing orange cores. Beebom's route runs from the far end past the Move Up button, up to two coils above the main coil, then to wall containers hiding a core, then the very top, where it advises Barriers.
  4. Get inside. Break the yellow buttons to open doors and destroy the cores in the locked rooms to reach the cargo.
  5. Drop the cargo. Breach the containers on all four sides, then press the two buttons on opposite sides together, repeatedly, until it lowers. Ride it down and loot it on the ground. KeenGamer describes a different finish, shooting a yellow valve at the end of the cargo panel route, so follow the objectives in front of you.
  6. Leave. KeenGamer says not to jump off, even with a Defibrillator on the team: ride a Reclaimer down instead, move away and head to a normal extraction.

The quest Boarding the Frigate needs 100 damage each to a Hydra and a Vaporizer, plus damage to a Rocketeer; kills are not required (Destructoid, Oct 8, 2026). See Update Quests.

Frigate rewards

The draw is Amplification Modules, high-tier ARC materials, Frigate-specific loot and whatever the breached cargo holds. Modules run Mk. I to Mk. V, matched to weapon rarity from Common to Legendary, and the other source is the fallen Emperor. Beebom saw mostly industrial and mechanical materials along the way, Research items, and epic and legendary rewards, but no blueprints or guns on its runs. That has since changed in part: update 2.3.0 lets six weapon blueprints drop in any major condition, though it does not name the Frigate. The Frigate Inductor feeds Research Station Level IV (Game Rant, Oct 14, 2026). See Weapon Amplification and Outpost and Research. No reliable source publishes drop rates as of Oct 31, 2026. In the clip Fallout Plays rides the cargo down and loots it (Oct 16, 2026).

What the patches changed

Update Change
2.1.0, Oct 13, 2026 Hatches burn over time when they open; cargo collision and drop adjusted; spawns moved closer to the action; cargo drop points on Pendola Pass adjusted
2.2.0, Oct 20, 2026 Crushing only at the landing point and for riders inside; thruster heat only near landing; no ejection from falling cargo; entry sequence optimized; memory fixes
2.3.0, Oct 27, 2026 New visual hatches and audio cues show puzzle progress; ping it from long range; pings mark exact spots aboard; better interior lighting; crash and memory fixes
Known issue, 2.3.0 ARC Reclaimers can occasionally fail to dock in the right spot

Sources: Embark's 2.1.0, 2.2.0 and 2.3.0 notes. Riding the falling cargo is now safer than the launch-week guides suggest, which is worth knowing before you read them. The whole update is on Frozen Trail.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get on the Frigate in ARC Raiders? In ARC Raiders you cannot climb on from the ground: disrupt a Reclaimer traveling between the ship and the surface and ride it up, per KeenGamer (Oct 8, 2026).

How do you beat the Frigate in ARC Raiders? Clear the Hydras, use the three levers to raise the core, destroy the orange power cores, reach the cargo through the locked rooms, then drop it and ride it down. ARC Raiders' guides differ on details, so follow the objectives.

What are the Frigate rewards in ARC Raiders? The ARC Raiders Frigate's main rewards are Amplification Modules, Research items, high-tier ARC materials and breached cargo containers. No reliable source publishes the odds.

Can you solo the Frigate in ARC Raiders? It is hard: KeenGamer says the ARC Raiders Frigate's lift needs three Raiders on three levers, so solos need others aboard. Beebom notes a Snap Hook can replace part of that climb.

Can you bring a Free Loadout to the Frigate in ARC Raiders? No. Beebom lists No Free Loadout among the ARC Raiders Frigate's rules (Oct 9, 2026), along with no active Raider Hatches.

What does the Emperor have to do with the Frigate in ARC Raiders? They are separate ARC Raiders challenges: the Frigate flies over several maps, while the Emperor has fallen on Pendola Pass. Both supply Amplification Modules.
