Shotguns and Battle Rifles

ARC Raiders has three shotguns, the Il Toro, Vulcano and Dolabra, and four battle rifles, the Ferro, Stiletto, Renegade and Aphelion. The Stiletto arrived in update 2.0 on Oct 8, 2026 as a cheap light-ammo alternative to the Renegade.

ARC Raiders has three shotguns (Il Toro, Vulcano, Dolabra) and four battle rifles (Ferro, Stiletto, Renegade, Aphelion), the guns that trade fire rate for a heavy hit. The Renegade and Dolabra are the two press lists rate most (Best Weapons), and the Stiletto is the newest, added on Oct 8, 2026. Stats come from Dexerto's sheets of Apr 17, 2026 and Beebom's Stiletto page of Oct 9, 2026, replaced by Embark's later values where it gave any. No reliable source publishes a full current table as of Oct 31, 2026. The clip explains the Dolabra, a shotgun from the hip and a mid-range railgun when aimed.

Il Toro

The Il Toro is the Uncommon pump shotgun that Embark cut hard for its range and damage output, especially with a choke. Update 1.20.0 (Mar 17, 2026) made these changes:

Stat Before After
Pellet damage 7.5 7
Base fire rate 43 38
Base dispersion 4.5 6
Total reload 4.3 s 5.7 s
Damage lost to falloff 40% 50%

Source: Embark's 1.20.0 notes.

Dexerto's sheet (Apr 17, 2026) still shows the older 67.5 total, which is nine pellets at 7.5 by arithmetic, with 20 range and a magazine of 5 that reaches 8 at level IV. It crafts from 5 Mechanical Components and 6 Simple Gun Parts at Gunsmith I. Lists ranking it above B, such as Insider Gaming's (Jan 14, 2026), predate the cut. Amplified, it gets More Reload and Slug Rounds, one large projectile with massive damage (Beebom, Oct 14, 2026).

Vulcano

The Vulcano is the Epic semi-automatic shotgun, with 49.5 damage, 26 range and a 6-round magazine on Dexerto's sheet (Apr 17, 2026). It crafts from 1 Magnetic Accelerator, 3 Heavy Gun Parts and 1 Exodus Module at Gunsmith 3, and level IV adds 30% fire rate and 40% faster reload. Since update 2.3.0 (Oct 27, 2026), its blueprint can drop in any major map condition. It cannot be amplified. Insider Gaming rated it S (Jan 14, 2026) and Dexerto's PvE list B.

Dolabra

The Dolabra is the Legendary energy shotgun from Flashpoint, update 1.22.0, Mar 31, 2026, and S tier on Beebom (Oct 1, 2026) and Dexerto's PvP list. It fires semi-automatically on Energy Clips with Strong ARC armor penetration. It crafts from 3 Shredder Gyros, 3 Magnetic Accelerators and 2 Vaporizer Regulators at Gunsmith Level 3 (Dexerto, Apr 27, 2026). No reliable source read here publishes its damage or magazine.

Update 2.0 fixed it so it destroys the yellow weak points inside the Harvester, and update 2.3.0 opened its blueprint to any major map condition. It cannot be amplified.

Ferro

The Ferro is the Common break-action rifle: one heavy round, then reload. Dexerto's sheet (Apr 17, 2026) has 40 damage, 53.1 range, a magazine of 1 and a sell price of 475 Coins at level I; upgrades add only reload speed and durability, starting with 7 Metal Parts. Dexerto's PvE list puts it in S, and Game Rant's budget build (undated) pairs it with the Stitcher. It cannot be amplified.

Stiletto

The Stiletto is the Uncommon light-ammo battle rifle from update 2.0, which Embark pitches as an early-game alternative to the Renegade: cheap to craft and easy to wield, though "button mashing will sacrifice accuracy." Beebom's page (Oct 9, 2026) lists the Stiletto IV as semi-automatic with Weak ARC armor penetration, magazine 16, durability 130, weight 7.0 and value 11,000, with 31.6% faster reload and 25.7% higher fire rate from upgrades. It cannot be amplified, and no reliable source read here publishes its damage.

You can earn it at tier 8 of the Frozen Trail Reward Pass or as a reward from the quest When Everything Falls (KeenGamer, Oct 12, 2026; see Update Quests). The blueprint has no set location: find it in random containers or through the Research Station. It crafts from 4 Mechanical Parts and 4 Simple Gun Parts at Gunsmith 1 (Insider Gaming, Oct 12, 2026).

Renegade

The Renegade is the Rare lever-action rifle on medium ammo, S on Beebom, Dexerto's PvP list, Game Rant and Insider Gaming. Dexerto's sheet (Apr 17, 2026) has 35 damage, 68.8 range and an 8-round magazine, and level IV adds 75% fire rate and 50% less dispersion recovery time. It crafts from 2 Advanced Mechanical Components, 3 Medium Gun Parts and 5 Oil at Gunsmith Level 3. Embark's amplified example is a Renegade with a scope; the options are More Reload and Scoped. PCGamesN's station list (May 7, 2026) does not name it.

Aphelion

The Aphelion is the Legendary 2-round burst rifle, meant by Embark as "a more PVP focused legendary weapon." Its blueprint moved from the Matriarch to Stella Montis on Dec 16, 2025 (see Stella Montis), and it crafts from 3 Magnetic Accelerators, 3 Complex Gun Parts and 1 Matriarch Reactor at Gunsmith III (Dexerto, Apr 17, 2026; 40 damage, magazine 10, 10 kg).

Update 1.17.0 (Feb 24, 2026) cut its reload from 4.5 s to 3.5 s, its time between shots from 0.9 s to 0.7 s and vertical recoil by about 50%, and improved ADS settle speed by about 35%. Update 1.45.0 (Sep 8, 2026) reduced its sway. Dexerto's sheet lists Heavy Ammo, but Beebom and Dexerto's Energy Clip page (Mar 25, 2026) say Energy Clips. Amplified, it gets Bigger Mag, Charged Burst, Increased Burst and Incendiary Rounds.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Il Toro still good in ARC Raiders? The ARC Raiders Il Toro is weaker than older lists suggest: update 1.20.0 (Mar 17, 2026) cut its pellet damage to 7 and its fire rate to 38, and lengthened its reload to 5.7 seconds. Amplified Slug Rounds came later, in update 2.0.

What is the Stiletto in ARC Raiders? The Stiletto is an Uncommon light-ammo battle rifle added to ARC Raiders on Oct 8, 2026, cheap to craft and aimed at early play as an alternative to the Renegade.

How do you get the Dolabra blueprint in ARC Raiders? Since update 2.3.0 (Oct 27, 2026), the ARC Raiders Dolabra blueprint can drop in any major map condition, with that pool's drop chance slightly lowered. See Blueprints.

Where does the Aphelion blueprint drop in ARC Raiders? The ARC Raiders Aphelion blueprint has dropped on Stella Montis since Dec 16, 2025, when Embark moved it from the Matriarch.

Does the Ferro hold one bullet in ARC Raiders? Yes, the ARC Raiders Ferro has a magazine of 1 on Dexerto's sheet (Apr 17, 2026) and 40 damage per heavy round.

Is the Renegade worth using in ARC Raiders? Press lists think so: the ARC Raiders Renegade is S on Beebom's (Oct 1, 2026) and A on Dexerto's PvE list, but no allowed list has ranked it since update 2.0.
