Flashpoint and Shrouded Sky

Shrouded Sky (1.17.0, Feb 24, 2026) brought ARC Raiders the Hurricane condition, the Firefly and Comet and a big weapon balance pass. Flashpoint (1.22.0, Mar 31, 2026) added the Close Scrutiny ARC Operation, the Vaporizer, the Dolabra and the Canto.

Shrouded Sky and Flashpoint are the two ARC Raiders content updates of early 2026: Shrouded Sky, patch 1.17.0, on Feb 24 and Flashpoint, patch 1.22.0, on Mar 31. Shrouded Sky is a storm: the Hurricane condition, two new machines and the weapon rebalance that cut the Stitcher, Kettle and Venator down. Flashpoint followed the storm with an ARC operation in the sky, a new flying machine and two guns. Values here are from those dates; Patch Notes and Updates has what came after.

Shrouded Sky: Hurricane, Firefly and Comet

In the Hurricane condition, wind batters Raiders, debris degrades shields, visibility falls, and First Wave Raider Caches lie uncovered on the surface. The caches paid too well: a week later 1.18.0 lowered rare blueprint drops and raised high-tier materials, because players could reliably leave with 3 to 5 blueprints a session. See Map Conditions and Blueprints.

The two machines are the Firefly, a floating armored ARC that emits a jet of flame, and the Comet, a sphere that locks on and explodes. They made beginner sessions too hard, so 1.26.0 removed Comets from standard Dam sessions and heavily reduced Fireflies there. See Flying ARC and Ground ARC.

Dam Battlegrounds gained a high-security Controlled Access Zone with high-value loot, marked by the Rocketeer chandelier. The update also brought the Weather Monitoring System project for Shani, which has since ended (1.24.0 told players who missed its deadline to check their inbox); the free Surgeon Raider Deck, whose rewards now sit in the Legacy Reward Pass; facial hair; and the second Expedition window. Feats changed too: three free rerolls a day and no more PvP Feats.

The Shrouded Sky weapon pass

Embark's notes explain two aims: settle a fire-rate bug and a "shadow buff" that let spam-clicking replace timing on semi-automatic guns, and stop cheap guns outperforming expensive ones.

Weapon Change, Feb 24, 2026
Stitcher Headshot multiplier 2.5 to 1.75, base damage 7 to 6.5, per-shot dispersion up around 50%
Kettle Base damage 10 to 8.5
Venator Headshot multiplier 2.5 to 2, base damage 9 to 8
Jupiter Zoom about 1.9x to about 2.2x, equip 1.2 s to 1.05 s, unequip 0.9 s to 0.75 s
Aphelion Reload 4.5 s to 3.5 s, time between shots 0.9 s to 0.7 s, vertical recoil down about 50%

Prices moved as well: the Deadline's trader price went from 15,000 to 18,000 Coins and the Trailblazer's from 4,800 to 6,600, and ARC parts now sell for less. See Assault Rifles and SMGs, Pistols and Hand Cannons and Sniper Rifles and Launchers.

Between the two updates

1.19.0 on Mar 10 returned loadouts lost in a server outage where possible, an exception to Embark's usual policy. 1.20.0 on Mar 17 cut the Il Toro: pellet damage 7.5 to 7, base fire rate 43 to 38, reload 4.3 s to 5.7 s, and it dropped the Energy Clip's sell price from 1,000 to 200 Coins.

Flashpoint: Close Scrutiny, Vaporizer and new guns

Close Scrutiny is what Embark calls an ARC Operation. Patch 1.23.0's fixes describe how it works: Assessors land, carry breach platforms you can search, summon ARC, and fly back into orbit. Since 1.33.0 it has been one of two conditions testing No Free Loadout. The Steam notes are short, so for its full rules see Map Conditions.

The Canto and the Dolabra, labeled New Weapon, in Embark's Flashpoint notes Embark Studios

The Dolabra is a Legendary energy shotgun and the Canto a Rare medium-ammo SMG. See Shotguns and Battle Rifles and Assault Rifles and SMGs. The Vaporizer is covered on Flying ARC.

Flashpoint also raised loot value in all locked rooms, scaled to key rarity, and made self-built loadouts more likely to join fresh servers, the second of which belongs on Matchmaking. It added Shredders on all maps, the Scrappy Feeding Boost, the High-Gain Antenna project, crafting improvements, a hide-HUD option on console, and the Wasp Hunter and Brigade sets. The antenna project expired before Riven Tides. Guides saying Shredders live only on Stella Montis predate this patch.

Follow-up patches

Hotfix 1.22.1 on Apr 1 fixed a crash. 1.23.0 on Apr 8 added the Vanguard Set and many Assessor fixes. 1.23.1 on Apr 10 closed a duplication glitch and a reconnect exploit. The next content was the Riven Tides Update.
